Where in the world is Yap?

So, where is this place that I am going to?

This map should give you an idea:

Yap Map

Some people would refer to Yap as a South Pacific island. That's not really true though, as it is situated north of the equator. That said, it is very much what people tend to expect from a South Pacific Island - coconut trees, coral sand and pacific culture.

And the diving is world class. Mostly famous for giant manta rays, Yap has much more to offer. There are pristine reefs, beautiful walls, caverns, sharks and a teeming fish life.

To learn more, check out "My home away from home" in the Links section. That link goes to the Manta Ray Bay Hotel and Yap Divers website which has a lot of information about Yap. I am currently working on a major update of the web site, but the current one should still give you a good idea of where I am heading.
