Bye bye....

Whenever you meet someone you don't know on Yap they greet you with "Bye!" or "Bye! Bye!", rather than "Hi!"

At first, this just confused me a bit. After all, if you run into someone for a second who will then go on to other things, it is more logical to say Bye rather than Hi, isn't it? You are departing rather than meeting from the start.

But then I realized why this was really bothering me...
