A Tropical Depression (03W)

This is how it looks - a tropical depression.

It might turn into a typhoon during the next few days, but there is no reason to expect it to cause any substantial damage - we'll see a lot of rain and winds, but that's about it.

In Burma though, people are really hurting, so please help your favorite organization help the people in Burma.

Update, May 8th: We now have a Tropical Storm - Rammasun. Still predicted to go far west of us though. More information at Joint Typhoon Warning Center.

Update, May 9th: Rammasun is now a Typhoon.
